MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541112980 A) filed by Prathyusha Engineering College, Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, on Nov. 18, 2025, for 'blocktender: a blockchain-based security paradigm for sovereign control and secure allocation of critical resources.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. T. R. Soumya; Raziya Begam S; Abdesh Kumar Yadhav; R. Deva; K. B. Manojkumar; K. Jenison Vibin Raj; Shakuniya Sunita Girdharilal; Rosarin Teena M; Priya T; and Karnam Jeevan Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The Blockchain-Empowered Crypto Secure Paradigm for the Sovereign Orchestration of Hyper-Sensitive Resource Allocations is a secure, decentralized system designed for government contract resource allocation in waste management, water management, and construction. Traditional resource allocation methods often struggle with inefficiencies,, security risks, and lack of transparency. Blockchain is a decentralized, distributed ledger technology that securely records transactions across multiple computers in a way that is immutable and tamper-proof. It operates without a central authority, making it a transparent and trustless system. Our solution leverages SHA-256. hashing for data integrity, AES encryption for confidentiality, and optimized string utility classes for secure processing. Traditionally, governments release tenders to various third-party organizations, leading to a competitive environment where bidders may attempt to gain an unfair advantage by accessing sensitive information about their competitors' proposals. Built on a permissioned blockchain, the system ensures that only authorized government entities and stakeholders can access and manage contracts. Smart contracts automate resource allocation, reducing delays, preventing fraud, and improving accountability. By combining SHA-256, AES, and cryptographic utilities, our platform ensures secure, transparent, and efficient management of public sector resources, fostering trust and compliance in government projects."
