MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441033261 A) filed by Henkel Ag & Co. Kgaa, Dusseldorf, Germany, on April 26, 2024, for 'biosurfactants in sulfate free shampoo compositions.'
Inventor(s) include Amit Tewari; and Dr. Balu Vura.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A hair care composition comprising at least one biosurfactant and at least one additional surfactant selected from anionic surfactants, amphoteric/zwitterionic surfactants and mixtures thereof, which is sulfate-free, has good foaming properties and can be used as a shampoo to cleanse hair."
