The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a Biophilic Active Green Wall Air Conditioner that integrates evaporative cooling with live plants to provide an eco-friendly and energy-efficient alternative to conventional air conditioning systems. The 5 air conditioner comprises a mild steel structure, a honeycomb padding cooling sheet moistened by a water circulation system, a plant integration module with cavities for securely holding plant pots, a fan assembly for airflow circulation, a filter tray for particulate removal, and a control panel for operational settings. Selected plants such as Areca Palm, Aloe Vera, Snake 10 Plant, Boston Fern, and Peace Lily enhance indoor air quality by absorbing CO2, releasing oxygen, and regulating humidity. The system operates on low-voltage DC power, reducing energy consumption by 20-30% compared to conventional systems, while eliminating harmful refrigerants and outdoor condenser units. The invention simultaneously provides cooling, natural 15 humidification, and air purification, making it suitable for residences, offices, hospitals, institutes, and green buildings."
