According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a biometric-verified cloud-based organizational voting system for secure internal elections, polling, and decision-making. The system comprises a voter registration and database synchronization module, a dual biometric authentication module, a secure voting interface, a vote encryption module, a cloud storage and audit logging module, a result generation module, and a post-election verification module. Eligible voter records are synchronized with an organizational database and linked with fingerprint and facial biometric templates. Before voting, the voter is authenticated through fingerprint verification and facial recognition, followed by session validation to prevent duplicate voting. Upon vote submission, the vote is encrypted and stored in a cloud database with timestamps and audit logs. A unique secret code is generated and sent to the voter for post-election verification of vote inclusion without revealing the vote selection. The system improves transparency, prevents impersonation, reduces manual errors, and enables real-time result generation."
