According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This biological signal measurement device is provided with a dry-type electrode, a member that fixes the electrode in a state in which the electrode is pressed against a living body, and a control body that measures a biological signal using the electrode. The control body has: a waveform feature extraction unit that extracts a feature amount from a waveform of the biological signal; and an attachment-state-determining unit for determining whether the electrode is attached properly on the basis of a feature amount extracted from the waveform of the biological signal measured during a period after the elapsed time from when the electrode was attached to the living body by means of the member has reached a predetermined time duration."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 21, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/006331.
