Inventor(s) include G. Hema Malinee.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Air pollution from vehicular emissions remains a major environmental challenge of the 2Pt century. Two-wheelers, which dominate urban transportation in many developing countries, emit harmful gases such as carbon dioxide (C02), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and hydrocarbons. These pollutants contribute to smog formation, respiratory diseases, and climate change. Conventional vehicular emission controL technologies are generally cost-intensive, whereas the bio-algae sticker disclosed herein presents a potentially cost-effective and economically viable solution for tlie reduction of caron dioxide emissions. The present invention provides a low-cost and affordable bio-algae based sticker attachable to a vehicle silencer,. designed to reduce carbon dioxide emissions through a natural biological process."
