MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517012830 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Feb. 14, for 'binder composition for secondary battery electrodes, and positive electrode for lithium-sulfur secondary battery and lithium-sulfur secondary battery comprising same.'
Inventor(s) include Kim, Bong-Soo; Ahn, Jee-Hyun; and Noh, Jae-Kyo.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a binder composition for a secondary battery electrode, a positive electrode for a lithium-sulfur secondary battery, and a lithium-sulfur secondary battery, comprising a lithium-substituted polyacrylic acid, a lithium-substituted carboxymethylcellulose, and a colloidal particulate water-based binder resin, thereby maintaining productivity and output performance at a high level, and improving an adhesion to the electrode."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 19, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/020975.
