MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012952 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'bicycle riding assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Deepanshu Singh Satwaliya.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A bicycle riding assistive device, comprises of a curved body 1 attached with end portion of handles of a bicycle 4 via a motorized ball and socket joint, a laser sensor to detect dimensions of the user's hands, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 5 to detect potholes over the path, a speaker 6 to notify the user regarding the detected potholes, an inclination sensor to detect inclination angle of the path and the ball and socket joint to accordingly move body 1 allow user to easily climb on the path, a speed sensor to detect speed of the bicycle 4, a FBG sensor to detect health issues to the user, a LDR sensor 7 to detect light intensity in the surrounding and a LED light 8 to maintain visibility of the surrounding."
