MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541120928 A) filed by Vidyavardhaka College Of Engineering, Mysuru, Karnataka, on Dec. 3, 2025, for 'bhoomi - bio intelligent harvest and optimized outcomes with market insights.'

Inventor(s) include Pranav Kumar; Pravachan D S; and Spoorthi M.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Agriculture faces increasing uncertainty due to climate change, unoptimized soil usage, and limited access to real-time data for small-scale farmers. BHOOMI is a bio-intelligent, AI-driven agricultural decision-support system designed to revolutionize sustainable farming through data fusion, visualization, and automation. The system enables farmers to upload a blueprint or aerial image of their farmland, along with its geo-coordinates and size. BHOOMI then processes this data through ISRO Bhuvan APIs, IMD weather feeds, and IoT sensor networks to analyse soil quality, terrain topology, hydrology, and environmental conditions. Using AI-powered AR/3D visualization, BHOOMI creates an interactive, 360 digital twin of the farm showing optimal cultivation zones, irrigation paths, soil nutrient layers, and predicted yield outcomes. The platform narrates results in a story-based advisory format, illustrating best-, average-, and worst-case harvest scenarios with tailored interventions for each along with the prediction of their revenue. Also provides the most important feature of disease detection as plant doctor by just analysing Plant leaf, steam and root. BHOOMI transforms raw land data into actionable insights - empowering farmers to make informed, sustainable, and profitable farming decisions."
