MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511113816 A) filed by Rayat Bahra University; Bahra University; and Rayat Bahra Professional University, Mohali, Punjab, on Nov. 19, 2025, for 'beverage serving assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Raman Kumar; Monika Pandit; Raibarinder Singh; and Simranjit Kaur.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A beverage serving assistive device comprising a cylindrical body 101 with a base 102 to secure on a ground surface, a conical structure 103 to accommodate an opened bottle for dispensing liquid contents intended for serving, a plurality of retractable plates 104 that expands/retracts to secure bottle to pour liquid contents into structure 103, a microphone 105 to provide input voice commands regarding requirement of assistance in serving liquid contents, a Peltier unit 106 for regulating temperature of liquid contents as per user's commands, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 107 to determine presence of auxiliary container in front of a plurality of tubing 108 arranged radially on structure 103, a motorized iris lid 109 to get opened/closed for dispensing liquid contents into containers for serving liquid contents to multiple containers and a plurality of LEDs 110 for emitting light to illuminate surroundings."
