MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514020219 A) filed by Suzuki Motor Corporation, Shizuoka, Japan, on March 6, for 'belt transmission device for engine.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A support bracket (40) includes a first fixing portion (41) and a second fixing portion (42) that are fixed to the oil pan (6), accessory machine attachment portions (43, 44) to which an air-conditioning compressor (12) and a motor generator (14) are respectively attached, and a front wall portion (45) continuous with the first fixing portion (41), the second fixing portion (42), and the accessory machine attachment portions (43, 44). The air-conditioning compressor (12) is disposed below the accessory machine attachment portions (43, 44), the motor generator (14) is disposed above the accessory machine attachment portions (43, 44), and a coupling portion (35) is attached to the front wall portion (45). A first tensioner pulley (31) is disposed in a first belt span (16A) and a second tensioner pulley (32) is disposed in a second belt span (16B)."
