Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Beam Failure Detection And Recovery With Multi-Trp And Multi-Panel Transmission' Filed by Interdigital Patent Holdings, Inc.

MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202518092619 A) filed by Interdigital Patent Holdings, Inc., Wilmington, U.S.A., on Sept. 26, for 'beam failure detection and recovery with multi-trp and multi-panel transmission.'

Inventor(s) include Tsai, Allan, Y.; Li, Qing; Zhang, Guodong; Iyer, Lakshmi, R.; Li, Yifan; Awadin, Mohamed; and Svedman, Patrick.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Methods, systems, and devices may support BFD with multi-TRP transmission or support BFR with multi-TRP transmission, among other things. For BFD with multi-TRP transmission, there may be the explicit configuration or implicit configuration. With regard to BFR with multi-TRP transmission there may: BFR using contention-free PRACH, BFR using PUCCH, BFR using contention-free 2-step RACH, or BFR using PUSCH."
