MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631073529 A) filed by Raj Kumar Malakar on June 12, 2026, for "bayumaan Compressed Air Engine".

Inventor includes Raj Kumar Malakar.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: A compressed air engine is disclosed comprising a primary air tank (V), a secondary air tank (W), auxiliary tanks (X, Y), and multiple interconnected cylinder liners (A1, C1, D1, F1, G1, I1, K1, M1). A first reciprocating assembly including rods (B, E) and pistons (B2, B4, E2, E4) compresses air from the primary tank (V) and transfers compressed air to the secondary tank (W). A second reciprocating assembly including rod (L) and pistons (L2, L4) receives compressed air via a pneumatic switching system (N, O, P) incorporating a multi-piston switching element (Q) with pistons (Q1, Q3, Q6). Mechanical displacement of connecting rods (B7, L6) actuates switching of airflow between ports to enable staged pressure transfer and redistribution between tanks (V, W). Reciprocation of rod (L6) drives a mechanical output assembly including freewheel (R2), sprocket (R4), and flywheel (S2), optionally coupled to an alternator (T) for electrical generation.
