MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012514 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'battery terminal connecting device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A battery terminal connecting device, comprising a frame 1 having a C-shaped clamp 2 mounted on terminal of a battery, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 determines dimensions of terminal, an electromagnetically powered spring 4 integrated with clamp 2 that is expanded/contracted for tightening clamp 2, plurality of elongated strips 5 arranged with clamp 2 and each cut with a cavity in which a user engages different wires that are connected with terminal, an ultrasonic sensor monitors length of wires, a motorized gripper 6 makes grip at mid-point of each wires to support wires to prevent tearing, a communication module is integrated with battery and device for determining percentage of charging of battery, a dual circuit switch deviates electricity from battery towards a circuit connected in between switch and an auxiliary power storage unit in order to deviate extra power supply to charge auxiliary power storage unit."
