According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A battery system control apparatus, according to an embodiment disclosed in the present document, comprises: a communication circuit that can communicate with a network switch through which one or more battery management systems (BMSs) are connected to a network; and a processor, wherein the processor may transmit, through the communication circuit, a confirmation signal to internal IP addresses assignable by the network switch, receive, through the communication circuit, a response signal to the confirmation signal from at least one internal IP address among the assignable internal IP addresses, and assign, to designated identification information, a medium access control (MAC) address of a BMS included in the response signal, so as to generate a MAC address-identification information table."
