MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517041362 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on April 29, for 'battery pack and vehicle comprising battery pack.'
Inventor(s) include Kim, Kwang-Mo; Jung, Hye-Mi; and Yoon, Young-Il.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A battery pack according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a plurality of battery cells; a pack case for accommodating the plurality of battery cells and provided with venting units for discharging gas generated in the battery cells to the outside; and protection covers, each covering at least a portion of a venting unit."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 24, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/019156.
