MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517050797 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on May 27, for 'battery pack and device including same.'

Inventor(s) include Jung, Seyun; Seo, Sung Won; Lee, Inje; Kim, Sung Tae; Tannenberger, Guenter; Harasztosi, Uwe; Wassermann, Thomas; and Muhammad, Rashid.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A battery pack according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a pack frame in which a plurality of battery modules are respectively mounted on a plurality of module portions partitioned from each other; a flow path frame located below the pack frame; and at least one first discharge portion located on one side surface of the pack frame, wherein the plurality of module portions include a first module portion and a second module portion arranged side by side in one direction, the second module portion is located closer to the first discharge portion than the first module portion, the flow path frame includes a first flow path portion located below the first module portion and a second flow path portion located below the second module portion, and a second lower venting flow path formed in the second flow path portion may be longer than a first lower venting flow path formed in the first flow path portion."
