MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517021254 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on March 10, for 'battery pack.'

Inventor(s) include Jang Byung Do.

The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The disclosed battery pack comprises: a cell unit including a plurality of battery cells; a base plate for supporting the bottom surface of the cell unit; a cell unit fixing agent which is interposed between the cell unit and the base plate and which includes a structural adhesive that is applied to or comes in contact with a portion of the bottom surface of the cell unit and a non curable filler that is applied to or comes in contact with the remaining portion thereof; and a cell lower panel which is interposed between the base plate and the cell unit fixing agent is detachably fastened to the base plate and is adhered and fixed to the cell unit by means of the structural adhesive."

The patent application was internationally filed on July 18, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/010357.
