MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517065951 A) filed by Byd Company Limited, Shenzhen, China, on July 10, for 'battery pack.'
Inventor(s) include Zhou, Dongjie; Yu, Peiwen; and Yi, Ning.
The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A battery pack comprises a battery case, battery cells and a mica protection plate. An accommodating space is formed in the battery case, and an exhaust channel is formed in the bottom of the battery case. The battery cells are arranged in the accommodating space, a plurality of battery cells are provided, and the plurality of battery cells are arranged in sequence in a length direction of the exhaust channel. An explosion-proof valve is provided at the bottom of the battery cells, and the explosion-proof valve corresponds to the exhaust channel. The mica protection plate is arranged between the explosion-proof valve and the exhaust channel."
