MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517105344 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'battery module and battery pack including same.'
Inventor(s) include Lee, Suhang; and Song, Seung Min.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a battery module and a battery pack including same, and the battery module according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a module frame accommodating the battery cell stack; and end plates covering the front and rear surfaces of the battery cell stack, wherein the module frame includes an upper cover positioned while covering the battery cell stack and including venting holes which are a plurality of holes, and a spacer assembly is positioned on the upper cover."
