MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517064540 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on July 7, for 'battery module, and battery pack and vehicle comprising same battery module.'

Inventor(s) include Jung, In-Hyuk; Yang, Jin-Oh; Oh, Kwang-Keun; and Choi, Hae-Won.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A battery module according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises multiple battery cells and a cooling tube disposed between the multiple battery cells and having a cell attachment surface to be attached to the multiple battery cells, wherein inside the cooling tube, a cooling medium for cooling the multiple battery cells flows and a cooling channel having a width of 1.7 mm to 1.8 mm is formed in a stacking direction of the battery cells."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 11, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/020350.
