MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517082450 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Aug. 29, 2025, for 'battery manufacturing system and battery manufacturing method.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "According to exemplary embodiments, provided is a battery manufacturing system. The system comprises a coupling device configured to form a plurality of first electrodes having electrode IDs from a first electrode sheet assigned the electrode IDs at predetermined intervals, form a plurality of second electrodes from a second electrode sheet, and couple the plurality of first electrodes and the plurality of second electrodes, wherein the coupling device may comprise a controller configured to collect coordinate-related electrode ID data including the electrode IDs and coordinate values of at least one of the first electrodes or the second electrodes matched to the electrode IDs on the basis of a first input amount of the first electrode sheet, a second input amount of the second electrode sheet, and an electrode ID detection signal."
