MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617019793 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Feb. 20, for 'battery manufacturing system.'
Inventor(s) include Park, Su Wan; Su, Jun Hyo; Han, Ki Deok; Jeon, Gi Yeong; Lee, Jae Hwan; Kim, Min Su; and Choi, Ee Beom.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a battery manufacturing system including: an electrode process device for performing an electrode process; and a roll map construction device for constructing a roll map including coordinate value data indicating the position of an electrode and measurement and inspection data generated according to the progress of the electrode process performed on the electrode and matched with the coordinate value data, wherein the roll map construction device is configured to receive a defect position of the electrode to generate a tag coordinate of a tag corresponding to the defect position, define a preceding removal reference coordinate preceding the tag coordinate and a following removal reference coordinate following the tag coordinate on the basis of the tag coordinate, and construct a survival electrode roll map excluding an electrode removal section between the preceding removal reference coordinate and the following removal reference coordinate."
The patent application was internationally filed on Aug. 19, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/012282.
