MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517008464 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Jan. 31, for 'battery diagnosis device and method.'

Inventor(s) include Kim, Yong-Jun; and Bae, Yoon-Jung.

The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention comprises: a storage unit for storing bank information about the voltage and capacity of each of a plurality of battery banks included in a battery module; and a control unit for generating a differential profile of each of the plurality of battery banks on the basis of the bank information, determining a target peak from each of the plurality of generated differential profiles, and diagnosing the state of the corresponding battery bank on the basis of the determined target peak."
