MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517015119 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Feb. 21, for 'battery device and battery device application determination method.'
Inventor(s) include Lee, Jura; and Kim, Dong Hyun.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A battery device mounted in a system may comprise: a control IC for controlling the operation of the battery device; a memory for storing a plurality of applications corresponding to a plurality of systems; and a switching logic which, in a mode in which the battery device cannot perform a power operation, confirms a protocol version that is an identification ID for identifying the system from a message received from the system, and provides an application corresponding to the confirmed protocol among the plurality of applications to the control IC."
