MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311085591 A) filed by Mercedes-Benz Group Ag, Stuttgart, Germany, on Dec. 14, 2023, for 'battery charging system for a vehicle and apparatus for cooling charging busbars associated with the system.'
Inventor(s) include Kapil Vetrivel; Dhananjay Deshmukh; and Ranjith Prakash.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides an apparatus (100) for cooling charging busbars (102) associated with a battery charging system (100) of a vehicle. The apparatus (100) comprises a first flow adaptor (104-1) comprising a housing having a first port, a second port, and a third port, wherein the first port of the first flow adaptor (104-1) is fluidically connected a first opening (102-1) at a first end of a first busbar (102-A) and the second port of the first flow adaptor (104-1) is fluidically connected a first opening (102-1) at a first end of a second busbar (102-B). The apparatus (100) further comprises a compressor (106) fluidically connected to the third port of the first flow adaptor (104-1). The compressor (106) is configured to supply compressed air within the first busbar (102-A) and the second busbar (102-B) via the third port of the first flow adaptor (104-1) to cool the corresponding busbars (102)."
