MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414098124 A) filed by Suzuki Motor Corporation, Shizuoka, Japan, on Dec. 12, 2024, for 'battery charging control device of vehicle.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "It is to provide a battery charging control device of a vehicle capable of starting an engine even in a case of short vehicle operation period of time. [Solution] A battery charging control device, to be mounted on a vehicle 1 with an engine 2, a motor generator 3, and a battery 4, includes a control part 20 to perform a battery charging control for a long time period standing of setting a voltage to be generated by the motor generator based on a standing period of time of the vehicle and an operation period of time of the vehicle."
