MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517074113 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Aug. 4, 2025, for 'battery cell pressing pad and battery cell pressing apparatus comprising same.'
Inventor(s) include Kim, Yoon; Kim, Ji Young; Lee, Daejin; Hwang, Sunwoo; and Cha, Hyohyun.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a battery cell pressing pad for pressing a battery cell including an electrode and a solid electrolyte stacked together, the battery cell pressing pad comprising: a first pressing pad which is brought into contact with one surface of the battery cell and presses the one surface of the battery cell; and a second pressing pad which is stacked on the first pressing pad and is brought into contact with one surface of a pressing jig. More specifically, the present invention relates to a battery cell pressing pad for improving the performance of an all-solid-state battery cell."
