MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517034414 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on April 8, 2025, for 'battery cell for secondary battery.'
Inventor(s) include Ahn Sanghyeok; Woo Seunghe; Kim Jeonggil; Choi Lak Young; Lee Jaegil; and Lee Gyeongseop.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a battery for a secondary battery and includes a battery cell for a secondary battery the battery cell comprising inside a case : an electrode assembly having a negative electrode current collector a negative electrode an electrolyte a positive electrode and a positive electrode current collector; and a first compression pad and a second compression pad making contact with one outermost surface of the electrode assembly."
