Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Battery Cell Assembly And Battery Pack Including The Same' Filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517026977 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on March 24, for 'battery cell assembly and battery pack including the same.'

Inventor(s) include Jang, Sung Hwan; Kim, Gwan Woo; Kim, Da Young; and Kim, Jae Wook.

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A battery assembly includes a first cell block; a first cover coupled to a first side of the first cell block; and a second cover coupled to a second side of the first cell block opposite the first side. The first cover includes a first extending portion extending from the first cover. The first extending portion includes a first plate spaced apart from a surface of the first cover in a first direction. The first extending portion further includes a second plate between the first plate and the first surface of the first cover."
