MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004072 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Jan. 19, 2024, for 'battery accommodating structure of a vehicle.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a battery accommodating structure (100) of a vehicle (10) that accommodates at least one battery (48), said battery accommodating structure (100) comprising: a case (102) comprising a bottom wall (104), a front wall (106) extending from the bottom wall (104), a first rear wall (108) extending from the bottom wall (104), a second rear wall (110) extending from the bottom wall (104), the second rear wall (110) being separated from the first rear wall (108), a first side wall (112) connecting the front wall (106) and the first rear wall (108), a second side wall (114) connecting the front wall (106) and the second rear wall (110); a plate member (122) releasbly coupled between the first rear wall (108) and the second rear wall (110); and a band member (130) releasbly coupled between the front wall (106) of the case (102) and the plate member (122)."
