MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514092028 A) filed by Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Sept. 25, 2025, for 'battery.'
Inventor(s) include Yuya Tabuchi; Shunichiro Sueyoshi; Atsuhiro Higashino; Junichi Izawa; and Shoji Nitta.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This battery includes a battery module (25) that is disposed inside a housing (12), includes a plurality of battery cells (32), and has a plurality of side surfaces (61a to 61d) oriented in different directions and a component (18) that is electrically connected to the battery module (25), in which the battery module (25) and the component (18) are connected by a plurality of bus bars (57), and each of the plurality of bus bars (57) are disposed on different side surfaces (61a and 61c) of the battery module (25) and passes between the side surface (61a and 61c) on which the bus bars are disposed and the housing (12)."
