MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514092669 A) filed by Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Sept. 26, 2025, for 'battery.'
Inventor(s) include Yuya Tabuchi; Jyunichiro Abe; Shoji Nitta; and Atsuhiro Higashino.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This battery (10) includes a cell (32) and a cell holder (31, 42) having a plurality of housing portions (37) for housing the cell (32), in which the housing portion (37) has a bottom portion (53) abutting one end (32a) of the cell (32) and a wall (58) surrounding a periphery of the cell (32), and the wall (58) has a formed bulge (62) that is continuous with the bottom portion (53) and bulges to an inside of the housing portion (37) to abut against a side wall of the cell (32)."
