MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617005030 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Jan. 19, for 'battery, battery pack comprising battery, and vehicle comprising battery pack.'
Inventor(s) include Jeong, An-Soo.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A battery according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise: an electrode assembly having an electrode tab in which a vulnerable part is formed; a battery housing configured to accommodate the electrode assembly through an opening part formed on one side of the battery housing; a current collector including a tab coupling part electrically coupled to the electrode tab and a housing coupling part electrically coupled to the battery housing; and a cap configured to cover the opening part."
