MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517037460 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on April 17, for 'battery, and battery pack and vehicle comprising same.'
Inventor(s) include Kang, Bo-Hyun; Kim, Do-Gyun; Jo, Min-Ki; Hwangbo, Kwang-Su; Oh, Jeong-Seop; and Lim, Gu-Min.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A battery according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly; a housing having an open portion formed on one side thereof and a closed portion formed opposite to the open portion, the housing being configured to accommodate the electrode assembly through the open portion; and an insulator which comprises a cover portion, interposed between the closed portion and the electrode assembly, and a side portion, interposed between the outer circumferential surface of the electrode assembly and the side wall of the housing, the side portion comprising a stress relief portion formed to have a predetermined depth from the end thereof."
