The formulation comprises 0.002-0.008% of baricitinib, 0.05-0.15 % w/v of soya lecithin, 0.015-0.025 % w/v of Span 80/Tween 80, 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1 ratio of chloroform:methanol, phosphate buffer pH 5.5 for quantity sufficient, 0.5-1.0 % w/v of carbopol-940, 5-10 % w/v of propylene glycol, 5-10% w/v of isopropyl alcohol, 0.05-0.1% w/v of triethanolamine and distilled water for quantity sufficient. The formulation is lipid based nanocarrier drug delivery system for enhancing the penetration and thus bioavailability of Baricitinib drug."
