MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541133485 A) filed by Dr. Mahalingam College Of Engineering And Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'bamboo reinforced composite panels with resin treated interlayers.'

Inventor(s) include P. S. Sathish Kumar; and M. Sudharsanan.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Bamboo reinforced composite panel with multiple layers of Bamboo arranged with resin treated interlayers is herein described. Resin treated interlayers in the panel are useful in improving bonding strength, resistance to moisture and durability. Bamboo reinforced composite panels are thus eco-friendly construction materials."
