MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024173 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 26, 2024, for 'baby-carriage assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Komal Devi; Manas; Rohit Markan; Ruchi Dogra; and Seenu Kumari.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A baby-carriage assistive device, comprises a frame 1 having plurality of plates 2 accommodates a toddler by forming a cuboidal shaped body, a microphone 3 enables a user to provide input voice commands to activate/deactivate the device, plurality of motorized hinges provides converging/diverging movement to the plates 2, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 captures images of the vicinity, an extendable U-shaped handle 5 extend/retract for enabling the user to access the body, plurality of wheels 6 moves the body on the surface, a temperature sensor monitors the temperature of the body, plurality of Peltier units provides required cooling/heating effect in the body."
