According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses Ayurvedic herbal formulations and methods for modulating gut microbiota compositions in subjects suffering from microbial dysbiosis-related disorders, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Standardized compositions such as Triphala are demonstrated to enrich beneficial bacteria (e.g., Faecalibacteriumprausnitzii) and suppress harmful taxa (e.g., Proteobacteria), improving gut health and systemic function. The invention further includes a computer-assisted system for identifying and recommending suitable formulations based on microbiome profiling data, representing an integration of Ayurvedic medicine and modern microbiome science."
