MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547096972 A) filed by Hendrickson USA, L.L.C., Schaumburg, U.S.A., on Oct. 8, for 'axle-to-beam connection for heavy-duty vehicle axle/suspension systems.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An axle-to-beam connection for an axle/suspension system of a heavy-duty vehicle that includes an axle (217), a beam (212) with an alignment assembly (250), and an axle mount assembly (270). The alignment assembly (250) is integrally formed with or is rigidly attached to the beam (212). The axle mount assembly (270) intimately contacts and captures the axle (217). The axle (217) is rigidly secured to the axle mount assembly (270) without line welds. The axle mount assembly (270) is removably connected to the alignment assembly (250) to secure the axle to the beam (212)."
