MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311080663 A) filed by Vestas Wind Systems A/S, Aarhus, Denmark, on Nov. 28, 2023, for 'auxiliary power supply system for a wind turbine.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an auxiliary power supply system for a wind turbine, wherein the wind turbine comprises an auxiliary system comprising one or more auxiliary electrical components, the auxiliary power supply system comprising an auxiliary transformer being operatively connected on a primary side to the power grid, and to a primary side of a switchgear.
