According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an autonomous structural health monitoring system for civil infrastructure (102) maintenance. The system (100) includes sensor nodes (104) strategically deployed across structural components, each incorporating an encapsulation matrix (104-2) embedded with a hybrid molecular nano sensor array to detect stress, strain, corrosion, pollutants, microcracks, and temperature variations. The encapsulation matrix (104-2) dynamically redistributes stress and releases healing agent (104-6) via integrated microcapsules (104-4) to seal microcracks. Edge artificial intelligence (AI) nodes (106) locally process sensor data to detect anomalies in real-time. Processed data and anomaly information are transmitted to a central AI system (108), which applies causal AI models to determine root causes and generative simulations to predict anomaly evolution under varying conditions. Based on severity, proactive maintenance protocols are generated. A visualization interface (114) provides three-dimensional and AR views of anomalies, enabling maintenance teams to efficiently assess, plan, and execute maintenance."
