MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521110526 A) filed by Symbiosis International, Pune, Maharashtra, on Nov. 12, 2025, for 'autonomous multi-factor authentication and lifecycle management system.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Pankaj Pathak; Saloni Patne; and Prakhar Srivastava.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to an autonomous multi-factor authentication and lifecycle management system (100) for Internet of Things (IoT) devices. The system comprises a secure ledger module (101) for maintaining immutable, cryptographically verifiable device identities; a device lifecycle management module (102) for provisioning, authentication, and secure decommissioning; an authentication and behavior monitoring module (103) for contextual verification and anomaly detection; a hardware security module (104) with Trusted Platform Module (TPM) and secure enclave for key protection; and a secure communication module (105) for encrypted data exchange. The system (100) autonomously verifies device trustworthiness, supports secure onboarding, firmware updates, and continuous attestation, while maintaining tamper-proof lifecycle records on a distributed ledger. It ensures scalable, resilient, and compliant IoT device management across digital and telecommunication networks."
