MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521105039 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Oct. 30, for 'autonomous electronic component assembling assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An autonomous electronic component assembling assistive device a mobile body 101 equipped with omnidirectional wheel assembly 102 for navigation and anchoring on workspace floor, articulated arm 103 provided with body 101 and integrated with handling assembly that includes a circular metallic tool plate 105 integrated with articulated arm 103 via ball-and-socket joint 106, a circular tool carousel 107 placed around tool plate 105, to hold multiple specialized tools, a compact rotary motor configured to bring a selected tool into an active working axis, an automatic locking pin assembly configured to secure the selected tool, a hydraulic piston assembly integrated behind tool plate 105, to provide pressure control during task execution and a vision and inspection module integrated with body 101 adapted to correct assembly defects, a human demonstration and imitation learning interface (HDILI), configured to capture motion trajectories, hand gestures, and verbal instructions from a human operator."
