According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The Smart Irrigation System is an automated agricultural solution designed to improve water management and reduce water wastage. The system uses a soil moisture sensor to monitor the moisture level of the soil and sends the data to an Arduino Uno microcontroller. Based on the detected moisture level, the controller automatically activates or deactivates the irrigation system through a relay module. An LCD display is used to show real-time soil moisture values and system status. When the soil becomes dry, the water pump is turned on, and it automatically stops when sufficient moisture is achieved. This system helps conserve water, reduces manual effort, and supports efficient and sustainable farming practices."
