MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511133722 A) filed by Gna University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'autonomous cooking assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Er. Gagandeep Singh Bains; Dr. Sumit Chopra; and Harkaran Singh.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An autonomous cooking assistive device comprising a body 101 configured to accommodate a gas stove, multiple telescopic rods 102 arranged around bottom periphery of body 101 and connected to a laser sensor for detecting a user's height and adjusting height of body 101, a set of pneumatic plates 103 positioned along bottom periphery of body 101 to securely hold gas stove upon detection, a frame 104 mounted on body 101 and integrated with a motorized vertical slider 105, multiple extendable poles 106 mounted on slider 105 with insulated holding members 107 and suction units attached for gripping and relocating utensils placed on gas stove, a camera 108 installed on body 101 for capturing real-time cooking visuals, articulated arms 109 connected to rotatable grippers 110 for interacting with burner knobs, a pneumatic link 111 connected to a circular unit 113 with spice compartments, a gun barrel dispensing arrangement 114 coupled to each compartment for spice dispensing."
