Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Autonomous Connection Switching In A Wireless Communication Network' Filed by Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (publ)

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202218038936 A) filed by Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (publ), Stockholm, on July 6, 2022, for 'autonomous connection switching in a wireless communication network.'

Inventor(s) include Zhang, Zhan; and Liu, Jinhua.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An access point (100-1) of a wireless communication network serves a connection to a user equipment (50). The access point (100-1) determines a plurality of target access points (100- 2, 100-3). Further, the access point (100-1) sends a message (204) to the user equipment (50). The message (204) indicates the plurality of target access points (100-2, 100-3) and authorizes the user equipment (50) to autonomously switch the connection to one or more of the target access points (100-2, 100-3)."
