MUMBAI, India, April 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311071114 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Oct. 18, 2023, for 'automatic wall hacking device.'

The application for the patent was published on April 25, under issue no. 17/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an automatic wall hacking device, comprising a platform 1 configured with plurality of motorized wheels 4 for positioning platform 1 in proximity to a wall, a touch screen 2 installed on the platform 1 for enabling a user commands regarding hacking of walls, a camera 3 mounted on the platform 1 for capturing images of wall to be hacked, a telescopically operated rod 5 installed on platform 1 and configured with a chisel 6 via a scotch-yoke arrangement 7 for providing motion to the chisel 6 for hacking the wall, a motorized slider 8 configured between said rod 5 and platform 1 for translating the rod 5, a tactile sensor 9 mapped on the chisel 6 for detecting wall hardness and a moisture sensor 10 configured on the chisel 6 for detecting wall moisture level."
