MUMBAI, India, Jan. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511104170 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 29, 2025, for 'automatic load control system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automatic load control system comprises of a control unit 104 configured to process time-based operational parameters and regulate load switching functions, a real-time clock 105 providing continuous time data, a user input interface 103 for entering or modifying time schedules for load operation, a switching element 101 activated to connect or disconnect electrical loads according to programmed schedules, a display unit 102 indicating real-time and programmed load operation data, the control unit 104 comparing programmed time data with real-time data from the real-time clock 105 to automatically initiate load switching, the switching element 101 comprising one or more relays operating multiple loads according to stored schedules, the display unit 102 providing visual indication of current load status and schedule settings, the user input interface 103 allowing alteration of programmed time intervals without disrupting active load cycles."
