MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011169 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'automatic grain filling device for sacks.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Swetarani Biswal.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automatic grain filling device for sacks, comprises of U-shaped frame 101 positioned on a ground surface spread with grains and installed with multiple motorized omnidirectional wheels 102 for moving the platform on the surface, a user is required to engage a sack in an open state with a pair of motorized clippers 103 installed with the frame 101, a pair of electromagnets integrated with the frame 101 for prevent undesired motion of the body 104 during mobility of the frame 101, a contact sensor positioned on each of the clippers 103 for detecting presence of free-end of the sack in contact with the clippers, an artificial intelligence-based imaging mounted on the body 104 for detecting exact location of the grains, a pair of telescopically operated rods 107 installed between periphery of the frame 101 and the body 104 to retract."
